In Memoriam

This page is dedicated to those of our tradition who have passed into the loving arms of the Goddess.

Their names will always hold a special place of honor

and we will never forget the many contributions they all made, not only to the McFarland Dianic Tradition, but to everyone whose lives they touched.

Merry Meet and Merry Part and Merry Meet again.

Blessed Be!

Barbara D.

Barbara “Thorn” D., age 73, died Saturday, September 19, 2015, in her Irving, Texas home. She was the High Priestess of Diana's Retreat Coven.  Barbara was one of the most loving, kindest, generous, honest, straightforward, funny, beautiful mothers Goddess put on this earth. She never met a stranger, and rarely said "no" to help anyone she knew. She never wanted to disappoint.  She was instrumental in bringing the Covenant of the Goddess to North Texas.  What she didn't realize was how many people looked up to her. She was a mentor to many and had a love of life like no other. She has left a hole that will never be filled.
